Well, it's official. Another 200 year-old pecan tree must come down, the second one to sucumb to the recent drought summers. However! My landscaper has plans to replace both trees and fill the yard with azaleas. I've asked for some hydrangeas and day lilies and we might put in a holly or two and some other ornamentals, as well.
